it turns out if you see on the commercial the dragon turns into a roller coaster thats dueling dragons they wont tear it down just rename it thank god it was my fav ride

I’m not a massive harry potter fan. I am a fan, but not one that goes to every single movie on release or reads the book, but this looks fucking incredible and the pictures I’ve seen really make me want to go back to see experience this.

Universal Orlando is a bunch of scum-bags – I interviewed there and they did a bait-and switch…interviewed for a job that wasn’t even available – HR woman accidentily let it slip – then they called later and questioned me to come in a 2nd time – now they pay all their workers minimum wage for crap jobs with no benefits. I like Harry Potter but Universal SUCKS!

I know, and there are so many things they could do with this park. Like, wouldn’t it be cool if once you got a wand, you could go to the dueling club and duel? They hook you up to a harness and throw you back when you get “hit” by a spell, and have some sort of special effects. That would be epic.

Edinburgh is in Scotland….its the capital city. I live there, I would most definately know. If you mean the theme park isnt in Scotland then yes its not…its in Florida. Oxford is in England….and yes that ISNT in Scotland, England is a completely different country!! Your point doesnt really make any sense seeing as Oxford has nothing to do with Hogwarts at all. Im sure maps arent too expensive, if you get one you will know where all these places are…even better google it!

it really isnt based on Oxford at all, Hogwarts was based on a private school in Edinburgh called Heriots which is very close to Edinburgh castle. As J.K Rowling lives in Edinburgh and wrote the books here it surely makes alot more sense for this to be the case. If you google the school you should see a picture of it. The writing, thoughts etc have very small to do with the US apart from perhaps the making of the theme park. It was also filmed in the UK.

I can’t wait to go! This is one of the main reasons I’m going to the park this fall! It’s like my childhood is coming alive! I can’t wait!
