HaHa you are a amusing guy! We are really getting ready to tackle a similar project in our new house. We are not taking out the bathtub, but we are retiling the walls around our tub and window. Should be fun…..

lol..” the way the bathtub went the bathroom should take a month.” I said, “just a new shower” and finished doing the whole house plus a few surprises(don’t you like them?).. But I’m excellent at working through the night and working in the morning…lol Nice job though! Check out my mess and tell me what you reckon…

They really were going to go all the way to the ground but had to cut it off at the tub. But we are having problems now trying to keep the caulking sealed since there is a small play from the area right below the drywall. The enclosure goes to the base of the tub and has about 1/4 play behind it, so the caulking keeps popping open. So don’t have any play there. Excellent luck.

wow ! Fantastic job ! hey, did you extend the greenboard to the ground at the ends and back of tub, or did you just greenboard to the top of the tub on all sides ? thx

Well the landlord paid for it all, except pretty much our time. He saw it last night and said it looks wonderful. Wants us to redo the whole bathroom……. Here we go, the way the bathtub went the bathroom should take a month. LOL
