Edible Landscaping, Onions, and Wild Grapevines

Landscaping
This was WAY longer than the 2 minutes that I like to keep my videos around. I was playing with my new camera and wanted to test the audio/video quality. I found a few wild grapevines in my backyard…and if you’ve watched any of my videos about edible landscaping…you can probably guess that I was pretty excited to find this.

You can use most parts of the grape vine. I’ll give it here FOR FREE!!!! But I’m not responsible for any misuse my statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, they’re not meant to treat, diagnose or cure and disease OK?
#1 Grape leaves can be stuffed with rice & veggies, boiled and eaten
#2 Grape vines can be cut and allowed to drip overnight, be sure to shade the vine thats cut and let it angel downward to collect any drippings, its fantastic for use as hair softener and regeneration.

Oh, I’m not the best person to question. This is really my first year to grow them. I’m taking it day by day, at this point. I’ve been trying to give them support once the tendrils start reaching for something to grab…which is string, for now. I want to find something more sturdy pretty soon. And YES…they grow very quick!!

Grapevines grow very quick (and seem to recover quick from being sent by mail). How many ft. would you let one grow alone before tying it to a stake?
Dog fertilizer! : )

LOVING the house…Tks for asking! Just trying to pace myself with everything I want to do.
Don’t give of the grape vines yet! The reliance grapevine that I have had no growth when I bought it…looked like twigs…And once I planted and watered it, it started to grow like crazy. EXCELLENT LUCK!

hey hows the new house? Hope your enjoying it. the camra’s awesome. I bought some grape plants a few days ago but, because I live in the colder part of canada, I reckon the grape vines froze and died on delivery cause all I have is wood sticks instead of a grape plant. I am going to hold on to it and see what happends……wish me luck.

Looking very excellent. Your spring has came!! Pleased gardening.

Lol! We’ll see if they produce anything. I figure they must be REALLY hardy to survive being cut down and grow through the sod.

With 5 vines I should get SOME, right?? lol! I’ll be so disappointed if I don’t. Not expecting too much from the wild ones…they’re in the shade most of the day.
