Why don’t you show how to hook up the power and sound, you left those out, also show how to get the show if you took it all apart.

sorry gonna sound silly again but i need to as i rekon this projector will unify my house (all focusing on a single direction).
when u say fan do u mean just a normal desktop fan that blows over the thing? or an cpu fan? and i thought the power supply came when u attached the lcd screen to another laltop or desk top
cheers

I just finished building one and I didn’t even spend $100… I paid $40 for the overhead projector, $40 for the 15″ lcd monitor and used the power supply and fan from an ancient computer. Works perfectly!

I’d like to pay my respect to the people who are building DIY projectors and making guides how to build them. They’re doing excellent job instead of posting stupid video blog chit-chat, bla bla crap like most of self-appointed internet stars do.
Thumbs up for people with passion and creativity.

Man, I wish I had a overhead projector and a LCD flatscreen
February 7th, 2010 at 1:32 pm
because a regular screen doesn’t have so much extra light directed through it and it gets hot, i would assume. don’t want to fry your screen.
