Designing the new BMW Z4: Interior Design

The new BMW Z4 is larger than its predecessor and this results in greater interior space and luggage capacity. With the roof up, headroom has been increased by 44mm while the greater car width and design enhancements have led to 20mm more shoulder room and 43mm more elbow room. Nadya Arnout, interiordesigner for the new BMW Z4, clarifies us how she used the additional space to make a sportive and elegant ambiance.

This is the best interior design of any BMW I’ve ever seen. I always say the M3, M5 looks fantastic on the outside but the interior were crap, they look stout and hardly stylish BUT this..this is something else, the softer tone really brings out the elegance and luxary of european design. BMW should fired all those men that designed their interior and let these 3 talented ladies to do all the interior design from now on. I like it.

ironic how it took for a woman to design the latest iteration of the z roadster for it to appeal to a broader male audience vs. its predecessors which were designed by men. hmmm.

So she is the one responsible for all the stupid looking interior of new BMWs, not that the exterior of new BMWs look any better.

they really did a fantastic job with this new z4. i dont really like the huge grille, but im sure ill grow to like it. the interior is a huge step up though.
