thats da reality,dey want production not quality,thats when some contracter fucks up and have to do da work again 4 poor quality!!!!!!!!!iam a rodbuster and thats what happen at our jobsite, dey wanted production not quality so dey got wat dey question 4,the inspector did not approve the rebar finishing product!!!!!!we simply did what our boss told us to do,so fuck it!!!!!!!!

I agree that all project managers must have some field experience. I was referring to the idiots that some contractors place out there to run jobs that couldn’t identify copper from PVC.

Drywall is behind next the HVAC will be behind followed by the plumbers and electricians. Anyone BUT the General Contractor is at fault. HAHA.

Who else is trying to fill the position? everyone wants to be a Project Manager with no field experience…..
Who is pushing for the shorter time frames?
Owners want it all quicker and quicker and therefore will continue to pay for either high quality/slow work or quick/cheap work….Don’t even let me start about how jobs are bid low and quick just to get the work……again it’s what the owner is paying for, that’s why I only do healthcare related work.

OMG these people are stupid. Should have had a full time scheduler and used cost performance index. Idiots, they can just accelerate the critical path. Too late tough, pay liquidated hurts ha ha!

Stupid glorified carpenters are now being made into Superintendents. that is the real problem. Nobody cares about codes or quality. It’s all about speed.
